 Lotus SmartSuite 98 Millenium Edition
Lotus SmartSuite was one of the competitors to Microsft’s office suite. But, from the beginning Microsoft had the clear advantage in building an office suite that just looked better than the others. After all, they had the Windows source code too and there were reports that they used undocumented APIs to give their software advantages over competitors on the Windows platform. Still, SmartSuite was a capable and useful office suite, especially if you also used Lotus Notes as may offices did in the 90’s.
This office suite consists of Word Pro (word processor), Lotus 123 (spreadsheet), Freelance Graphics (slide presentation) Lotus Approach (database), Lotus Organizer (great notebook-like PIM).
